Annual Scholarship Program

Producers Livestock Marketing Association (PLMA) is excited to announce the formation of an annual scholarship, available to children/grandchildren of current PLMA employees and children/grandchildren of bona-fide and current member-owners of PLMA.

For the year 2021, there will be $10,000 available to selected applicants. The scholarship(s) will be awarded at the discretion of, and in amounts as determined by a Scholarship Committee. The Scholarship Committee consists of PLMA Management at both a home office, local branch level, & select Board Members.

Rules and Requirements for the Producers Livestock Marketing Association Scholarship Application:

· Applicant must be the child or grandchild of a PLMA current employee or member-owner of PLMA. (Producers Livestock Marketing Association is a co-op owned by its members. A person is automatically enrolled as a member when selling livestock through the association.)

· Scholarships can be used at an accredited institution of the student’s choice; university, college, junior college or trade school.

· Applicant must complete the application form in full and provide three (3) references.

· Applicant must be willing to attend a personal, telephone or webcam/internet interview (if so deemed necessary by the Scholarship Committee).

· Application must be postmarked no later than APRIL 16, 2021 (NO EXCEPTIONS!) to be awarded for the 2021-2022 school year. Completed and signed applications need to be mailed to: PLMA Greeley, Attn: Brad Jones/Scholarship, PO Box 819, Greeley, CO 80632. Winners will be notified via mail no later than May 7th, 2021.

· Funds will be given to the scholarship winner(s) upon proof of enrollment at an accredited university, college, junior college, or trade school in the Fall of 2021. Proof of registration form must be mailed to PLMA Greeley, Attn: Scholarship, PO Box 819, Greeley, CO 80632 no later than December 31, 2021. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the scholarship by said applicant.

Application must be postmarked no later than APRIL 16, 2021 - NO EXCEPTIONS. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
